Naturally as a mother, you want the best for your kids and if you would have asked me not too long ago what my number one wish for my kids was, I would have told you straight up that besides being healthy, I wanted them to be neurosurgeons or anesthesiologists. Yes, I
wanted want them to have prestigious professions and there were just no room for anything else! I slowly directed their attentions to TV shows such as A Gifted Man ( I was so obsessed with Dr Holt man! ) and Grey’s Anatomy and before you know it, they became obsessed and couldn’t wait for the week’s allowed screen -time to watch more episodes.
As time went by, I began to realize that yes, money is required to survive ( this is just a personal opinion), but there are far more important things to accomplish in life than having a high-paying career! This led to the wish list I am sharing with you today and although it was far more difficult to narrow down and still a work ( wish list ) in process, I think this is a great start don’t you think? ( Please note these are in no particular order.)
1 – Be kind and compassionate
2 – Be educated
3 – Be risk-takers and see failure as an opportunity to try something new
4 – Be happy
5 – Dream big and follow your dreams
7 – Love, Love, Love
If you are a parent or can relate to this post in general, what are your wishes for your children? Anything else I should consider? As always thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a fabulous week!
